Induction Hardening

At Apex Engineering, we provide Induction Hardening using advanced Vertical and Horizontal Scanning Systems with a hardening capacity of up to 1500 mm. Our PLC-controlled induction systems deliver precise, consistent, and repeatable hardening for shafts, gears, pins, rollers, and other critical engineering components.

Austempering

Our Austempering process is carried out using a Rotary Retort Furnace for small components (40–50 kg batch capacity) and a GCF Pit Type Furnace for larger components, including ADI castings, with a capacity of up to 1000 kg. The resulting bainitic microstructure provides excellent toughness, ductility, and dimensional stability.

Carbo-Nitriding

We offer Carbo-Nitriding using a Rotary Furnace with a batch capacity of 25–40 kg. The process combines carbon and nitrogen diffusion to produce a hard, wear-resistant surface with a case depth up to 0.3 mm, making it ideal for precision low-carbon steel components.

QPQ (Quench–Polish–Quench)

At Apex Engineering, we offer the QPQ (Quench–Polish–Quench) process, also known as the SALT BATH Nitrocarburizing + Polishing + Post Oxidation process. QPQ is a premium duplex surface treatment designed to significantly improve wear resistance, corrosion resistance, fatigue strength, and sliding performance while producing an attractive black finish.

Liquid Nitriding

Gas Nitriding – Pit Type

At Apex Engineering, we offer advanced Pit Type Gas Nitriding and Ferritic Nitrocarburizing (FNC) using fully automated atmosphere-controlled furnaces with a dedicated Ammonia Cracker (Dissociated Ammonia - DA Generator). The controlled use of Ammonia (NH₃) and Dissociated Ammonia (DA) ensures precise nitriding potential, excellent process stability, consistent case depth, and repeatable metallurgical results for components weighing up to 1000 kg.
